Gambia’s Ministry of Health is currently hosting the Regional Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Recovery Fellowship (PHEPRR).
This program has brought together public health experts and practitioners from across West Africa.
The fellowship aims to enhance capacities in emergency preparedness, response coordination, risk communication, surveillance systems, and post-emergency recovery planning.
It also promotes cross-border collaboration and peer learning among participants.
The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to advancing health security and strengthening coordinated regional efforts in public health emergency management.
