H.E. Mohammed B.S. Jallow, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia, met with Senegal’s Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, alongside other esteemed Gambian officials during the 39th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The Gambian delegation included Hon. Sering Modou Njie, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad; Hon. Dawda A. Jallow, Attorney General and Minister of Justice; and Ms. Fatou Kinneh Jobe, Permanent Secretary II at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The bilateral discussions centered on strengthening the longstanding and cordial relationship between The Gambia and Senegal.
Key areas of focus included enhancing diplomatic engagement, expanding trade and economic cooperation, reinforcing security collaboration, and advancing regional integration to foster shared prosperity for both nations.
